1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using CONUS Watch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Quicksilver Industries LTD ("we", "us", "our").

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

CONUS Watch is a free weather radar web application that displays near-realtime radar imagery, satellite imagery, precipitation data, and weather alerts. The Service aggregates publicly available data from NOAA (NEXRAD, GOES via Iowa Environmental Mesonet), the National Weather Service, and OpenStreetMap. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

3. NO WARRANTY / DISCLAIMER

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of radar data displayed
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Fitness for any particular purpose
Reliability of third-party data sources

CONUS Watch is not an emergency alert system. Do not rely on this Service for life-safety decisions. Always consult official government sources (FEMA, NOAA, NWS, local emergency management) for authoritative emergency and weather information.

4. DATA SOURCES & THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Radar imagery and weather data displayed in CONUS Watch originates from third-party sources including NOAA, the National Weather Service, and Iowa Environmental Mesonet. We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or availability of this data. Third-party data is subject to the terms and conditions of its respective providers. Map tiles are provided by CARTO/OpenStreetMap contributors under their respective licenses.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service at excessive rates
Misrepresent CONUS Watch data as official government information
Use the Service to cause panic or spread misinformation

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The CONUS Watch application design, code, and branding are the property of Quicksilver Industries LTD. Radar data is provided by NOAA via Iowa Environmental Mesonet under their respective terms. Map tiles are provided by CARTO/OpenStreetMap contributors under their respective licenses.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quicksilver Industries LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quicksilver Industries LTD operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
